Dear Applicant,
Thank you for your interest in the EMBA program at the Department of Management Studies, IITM. As you are preparing to submit your application, we wish to highlight the following aspects of the application process.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN IN EACH SECTION WHILE FILLING YOUR APPLICATION. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO DOWNLOAD THE PDF FILE WITH THE GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS AND TAKE A PRINT OUT OF THE SAME FOR YOUR EASY REFERENCE.
1. Application Process
- Application should be submitted online.
- Passport size photo (in JPEG)
- Signature photo (in JPEG)
- 10th Marksheet
- 12th Marksheet
- Bachelor's Degree Certificate and Marksheets
- Experience Letters
- Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Sponsorship Letter (if applicable)
- CV with details of work experience only (not exceeding 3 pages)

2. Eligibility & Admission Procedure
WHO CAN APPLY
- First class or 60% and above in Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (55% for SC/ST/PwD)
- Minimum 3 years of work experience after UG as on 31st Dec 2024.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
- Online Applications for admission to the EMBA program opens on 7th September 2024.
- The shortlisted candidates will go through the Selection process at the IIT Madras Campus on 8th, 9th & 10th November 2024, which comprises of a written aptitude test and a personal interview.
- Written aptitude test will be based on -Business Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability.
- Results are announced by December 2024 and the program will commence by January 2025.

3. Application deadline
- The deadline for submitting the application online is October 26th, 2024, 11.59pm. It is your responsibility to ensure that the application and the fee is submitted on or before the deadline. An application which is complete in all respects and for which the application fee has been received would be considered for the selection process.
4. Application fee
- The application fee (non-refundable) is Rs. 1500.00
5. Correctness of information provided
The applicant will bear the full responsibility for the correctness and accuracy of the information furnished in the application. Applicants are therefore strongly advised to verify the information provided by them before submitting the application. No changes are possible after the application has been submitted. Misrepresentation or providing wrong information, knowingly or otherwise, will result in the application being summarily rejected at any stage of the selection process and beyond.
