EMBARK 24

The Department of Management Studies (DoMS) at IIT Madras organized the 7th edition of their annual festival, EMBARK 24 on August 24 at the ICSR Auditorium.
The event started off with the welcome address from Dr. Raghunathan Rengaswamy, Dean of the Office for Global Engagement; Prof. M. Thenmozhi, Head of the Department of Management Studies; Dr. S. Srinivasan, EMBA Program Coordinator; and Prof. T.J. Kamalanabhan, Professor in the Department of Management Studies.
The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Vignesh Kumar, a veteran with 18 years of experience in SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS. Following the keynote, several events took place, including Vison to Venture, Case Masters, and Ad-Mastery. EMBARK attracted participants from various EMBA programs and industry professionals.
The event highlighted a diverse panel discussion featuring experts from healthcare, automotive, aviation, supply chain management, and insurance technology. The discussion focused on the intersection of humans, machines, and management in navigating the AI revolution.
The event concluded with an insightful address given by Dr. Sumanth C Raman, founder of Algorithm Health Ltd. He also addressed challenges in AI adoption, government policy issues, speeding up drug discovery, and advancing personalized medicine.
EMBARK 24 brought together participants from various colleges offering Executive MBA program.
