I will start with a story…” began Prof. Ashok Jhunjhunwala, (Retd.), Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Madras and the President of IITM Research Park & IITM Incubation Cell (who just completed his term), was the speaker at the EMBA guest lecture series addressing the two batches of EMBA students on July 6, 2024, at the Department of Management Studies at IIT Madras.

Prof. Jhunjhunwala’s enthusiasm and wit while delivering his talk to the EMBA students set a positive tone in the room. He has played a pivotal role in encouraging students not only from IITM but also from other institutes. His motto – “to nurture young minds and guide them towards their start-up venture”.

“To bounce back after failure” and “focus” are key ingredients for a start-up, he continued.
