The School of Business, Economics and Information Systems, University of Passau produces world-class research and their activities allow them to achieve excellent results in global rankings. The individual members of the school have a multitude of research partnerships with researchers from all over the world. The aim of the school is to impart and develop business knowledge through an interactive and international dialogue between academics, students and industries. They also allow us to forge ahead and contribute to shaping the development path of business and society. Research institutes and the International Centre for Economics and Business Studies (ICEBS) offer a fruitful platform for collaboration in research as well as provide a framework for high-profile guest visits and mentoring by top scholars in the field. The School is also integrated in the Bavarian Graduate Program in Economics (BGPE). The university supports the students throughout their academic career by engaging in continuous, open and personal discourse with lecturers and professors in a stimulating environment.

The Esposito Family Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (EFCIE) is a research centre at the University of the Fraser Valley established through a generous endowment provided by the Esposito family. EFCIE works to foster an inclusive, vibrant, and resilient space for innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives for the UFV and Fraser Valley communities. EFCIE's activities include research, course development, and mentoring both students and entrepreneurs. We also emphasize community outreach through events and projects that explore the interactions between technology, innovation, and society. This connection between innovation and society is a unique aspect of the Centre.
